As a guest of the Hilton Austin you are centrally located in the capital city’s downtown area. Austin has an abundance of personality that visitors find exciting and appealing. The Hilton Austin offers La Source bathroom amenities created exclusively for Hilton by Crabtree & Evelyn. The rooms include one king or two double beds, a chair with ottoman or loveseat and a spacious work desk. Additionally each of the guest rooms includes a flat-screen television with Cable TV and pay movies, video games and premium channels, mini-bar, coffee maker, iron/ironing board and hair dryer. A complimentary USA Today newspaper is delivered to each room Monday - Friday.

Hotel Reservations

The AHDI group rate for sleeping rooms at the Hilton Austin are $153 for single and double occupancy, $173 for triple occupancy, and $193 for quadruple occupancy rooms. All reservations must be made before the official AHDI group rate cut-off date of July 12, 2010.

The Austin Hilton will begin accepting reservations soon – please check back frequently.

Program

Each year AHDI offers a program designed to meet the emerging needs of the healthcare documentation industry and its practitioners, students, educators and business owners. The ACE 2010 Schedule of Events is currently being developed by the 2010 ACE Program Committee. These volunteers and staff members are hard at work creating a dynamic program. Please check back frequently for updates.

Presenting at ACE 2010

AHDI is accepting educational session presentation proposals for ACE 2010. If you would like to submit an abstract, please use the Call for Abstracts form by clicking the link below. All abstracts must be submitted by March 31, 2010. Please note that presenters are volunteers and they will be responsible for their own travel expenses for the conference.

Ground Transportation

There are several shuttles and taxis available to transport you from the Austin airport to the Hilton downtown. Super Shuttle will accept reservations in advance or you can reserve your ride upon arrival in Austin. If you’d like to make advanced reservations with Super Shuttle, you may do so here: http://www.supershuttle.com/

If you prefer to take a taxi, you can reserve your ride upon arrival by simply walking out of the baggage claim area and into one of the many taxi service lines. The Austin Hilton does not offer complimentary shuttle service.
